End user licence agreement

This agreement is between you and EAanalytics Ltd, trading as BosOn, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08006715) ("we" and "us"). It covers the BosOn app for Windows and Mac: every version we give you, including beta and early-access builds, updates, and the content pack the app downloads. You accept it by clicking I agree when you install or first open BosOn, or by using BosOn. If you don't agree, don't install or use it.

Our terms of service and acceptable use policy are part of this agreement. The terms of service cover your account and paying for BosOn; this agreement covers the software itself.

1. Your licence

While you keep to this agreement, and to your plan if it's a paid one, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install BosOn and use it, on the number of computers your plan allows, for your own work or your business's. BosOn is licensed to you, not sold. Everything not given to you here stays ours.

2. What you must not do with the software

• Copy, share, rent, lend, sell, resell or sublicense BosOn, your licence or your account, or let anyone else use your sign-in.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise try to get at BosOn's source code, except where the law gives you a right to do so that can't be taken away.
• Copy or reuse BosOn's code, designs, prompts, model catalogue or content pack, or use them to build a product that competes with BosOn.
• Get round, switch off or interfere with BosOn's sign-in, licence checks, beta end date, content checks or update checks.
• Remove or change any copyright, trade mark or other notice in BosOn.
• Use BosOn to break the law, or to attack, overload or spread malware to anyone, including us.

3. What you must never make with BosOn

These rules apply to everything you make, edit, store, send or post with BosOn, including through the AI services you connect. Our acceptable use policy sets them out in full.

• No sexual or adult content of any kind. No nudity, pornography, sexual acts, erotic or fetish content, sexualised pictures of anyone, and no prompts written to get round an AI service's filters to make such content.
• Nothing that sexualises children, or appears to. We will end the licence of anyone who attempts it and report it to the authorities.
• No one's likeness without their consent. No deepfakes or face swaps, and no putting a real person's face, body or voice into something they didn't do, without their clear permission.
• No impersonation or deception. No pretending to be a real person, brand or organisation, no fake endorsements or testimonials, and no passing off AI-made work as made by a person where that would mislead anyone.
• No removing the signs that AI made it. Don't remove, hide or alter watermarks, Content Credentials, AI labels or other marks that show content was made with AI, including the labels that YouTube, TikTok and Meta ask for.
• Nothing harmful, illegal or infringing. No hatred, harassment, violence, gore, terrorism or self-harm, no scams or illegal goods, no misleading ads, and nothing that infringes someone else's copyright, trade marks or other rights.

BosOn may check prompts before sending them to an AI service and stop any that break these rules. The services you connect run their own checks too, and may refuse requests or act on your account with them.

4. The services you connect

BosOn works through accounts you hold with other companies, such as Higgsfield, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, YouTube and TikTok, and the AI models they offer, such as Seedance, Kling, Veo and Nano Banana. When you use them through BosOn, their terms and usage policies apply as well as this agreement, and you agree to keep to them. You're responsible for having the rights to what you put in and for what you publish. They can change or stop what they offer at any time, and we're not responsible for what they do or charge. BosOn is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

5. Beta and early-access versions

BosOn is still being built. Beta and early-access versions may have faults, may change, and may lose features. A beta ends on a date we tell you; after that, a beta copy stops its paid features until you have a plan. Your library stays yours either way. Keep your own copies of anything important.

6. Signing in and staying signed in

BosOn checks your licence with getboson.app when it opens and once a day, sending only what our privacy policy describes. It keeps working offline for up to 3 days after its last good check. If your licence ends or is suspended, BosOn stops its paid features; your library, and the files in it, stay on your computer and remain yours.

7. Updates

BosOn tells you when an update is ready, and downloads new models, tools and wording through its signed content pack. Some updates may be needed to keep using BosOn, for example when a service it connects to changes. This agreement applies to every update.

8. What's yours and what's ours

As between you and us, what you make with BosOn is yours, subject to the terms of the AI service that made it, and your library stays on your computer: we don't receive it and don't use it to train AI. BosOn itself, including its code, design, prompts, catalogue, content pack and name, belongs to EAanalytics Ltd and is protected by copyright and other laws. Other companies' names and logos belong to them.

9. Ending this agreement

You can end it at any time by uninstalling BosOn. We may suspend or end your licence if you break this agreement, the terms of service or the acceptable use policy, and where the law requires it or someone is at risk we may report what we've seen. When the agreement ends you must stop using BosOn; the files in your library stay yours. Sections 2, 3, 8 and 10 continue after it ends.

10. Our responsibility, and the law

What we're responsible for, and the limits on it, are set out in our terms of service, under "Our responsibility to you", and apply to BosOn the software in the same way. If you're a consumer, nothing here takes away your legal rights. This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, as the terms of service set out.

11. Changes

If we change this agreement, we'll give it a new version number and date here, and BosOn will ask you to agree to the new version before you carry on. If you don't agree, you can stop using BosOn and cancel your plan.
